Personal Travel Planning for California

Personal travel planning for California

Great journeys from California begin with a conversation. Since 1981, Travel Wizards has planned cruises, safaris, expeditions, and custom itineraries for travelers across California, working remotely so that where you live never limits how well your trip is planned.

Travel Wizards has planned journeys since 1981, and the way we work has not changed: listen first, tell the truth about what a budget will and will not buy, and stay reachable while you travel. California clients work with us by phone, email, and video call, so there is no office to visit and no obligation to begin a conversation. As a Virtuoso member agency we hold relationships with hotels, cruise lines, and tour operators that translate into upgrades, credits, and priority treatment you cannot book yourself.

The journeys we plan for California travelers span the full range of luxury travel: ocean and river cruises on lines we know personally, expedition voyages to Antarctica and the Arctic, private jet journeys, African safaris, honeymoons and anniversary trips, multigenerational family vacations, and fully custom independent itineraries. If you can imagine it, we have likely planned it for someone, and we will tell you honestly what it takes to do it well.

The next step is a conversation, not a commitment. Reach out to Travel Wizards, share your dates and dreams, and let an advisor who plans travel for California clients every week show you what is possible.

California travelers also ask us about closer-to-home escapes, and we are glad to help with those too, from Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada to the Napa and Sonoma wine country. The point of an advisor is not the size of the trip; it is the quality of the planning behind it.

Because we plan remotely, working with us from California is no different from working with us in person: the same advisor, the same attention, the same advocacy when plans change. Many of our longest client relationships have never involved a single office visit.

If you are comparing options for your next journey, bring us your shortlist. An advisor can tell you which choice suits your travel style, which departure dates offer the best value, and which details are worth arranging before you leave California.

California, in the Pacific Coast, is known for Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada, the Napa and Sonoma wine country, and the Pacific Coast Highway and Big Sur. Whether you are based in Sacramento or elsewhere in the state, your advisor plans from your doorstep outward, starting with the most sensible route from your home airport.
